russr72, have you checked your Hotmail account’s signature? Since you mentioned that the message appears when replying or composing a new e-mail message, it’s possible that the message was set up as your signature. You can follow these steps
to remove the message from your signature:
1. Sign in to your Hotmail account at http://mail.live.com
2. Click Options on the upper right corner of your account
then click More options.
3. Under Customize your mail, click Personal e-mail signature.
4. Wait for the page to load then delete the message displayed in the box.
5. Click Save.
Moving on, although I cannot confirm how the message was set up as your signature, I recommend that you follow these safety measures to keep your account secured:
1. Use different characters on your password, and regularly update your secret question and answer.
