Attach picture option gone
Latest post: langware, Tuesday, August 31, 2010 6:26 PM

I always attach pictures to my emails, by using the drop down menu under attach and selecting photos... but for some reason this option is gone.  Is anyone else having this problem. and how do i fix this?  Using just the attach button takes a long time and doesnt allow me to add many pics to one email.

Yes, I also am having the same problem in Windows Live Hotmail. It was so easy to use the Photo Upload feature when attaching photos. Why is this not working anymore ?

I have just discovered that I not longer have the multiple photo attachment feature on my Hotmail. It was working last night. I can see that I am not alone.

Has the feature been removed or is this just a temporary problem?

I would appreciate any information as I use the feature most days.

I DO NOT have Vista. My op system is Windows XP and I use my attach photo daily......up until today.

I am not accessing through Mozilla Firefox.

I have gone in and disabled my Activ-X control (a suggestion from a help thread)

NOTHING IS WORKING so far. Please Help................

I use this feature for work and have clients waiting........ I have had to open a gmail account to get the job done. No response yet from our 'LIVE HELP"! Some team. If my team work as the LIVE team is working today my client base would quickly dissapate.

I'm also having this problem with uploading multiple photos to my hotmail emails. Its fine to add single files or photos but this takes forever and I know it was working 1 month ago fine on this laptop.

I use Internet Explorer 8, windows XP professional

I am not great with computers so have frustratingly spent the last 4 hours already going through past posts trying to resolve this issue.

I have now completed all the suggestions on these related links and still no luck. Has this issue been fixed and I just cant find the appropriate link?

I have done as all the links suggest:

-Deleted photo upload tool- active x control

-Optimized Explorer 8

-Completed the workaround

-had a good laugh at how many PISSED OFF PEOPLE there are switching accounts to G-mail or something similiar.

I use several hotmail accs for work and leisure, obviously using the photo uploader very often. I have never wanted a g-mail acc as i've been very happy with hotmail till today when I have clients waiting for photos.

HELP ME PLEASE!

If this isnt resolved could someone explain to me how to correctly send photos from Outlook without them being massive when sending. Sorry i'm a total novice and not too sure what to do as i've always relied on hotmail that automatically resizes for me.

YES: I just had an email from two of my emplyees at different locations trying to send pictures to me from MY PHOTOS.  They can send one at a time but not the FOLDER of photos as they usually do.  I tried it and I find I can't do this either.  We all use HOTMAIL and I need these photos to pass on to clents right now. HELP.

This may be totally unrelated, but this problem has cropped up just now, and recently, all of a sudden it seems like we are unable to "link" all of our email accounts, like we were able to do before.......and it all seemed to start right around the time that "Bing" was launched. As I say, it may be totally unrelated, but it sure seems coincidental ! Kinda makes you wonder what will go on the blink next !!??

I just spent 4 hours trying to figure out what happened with the photo upload pull down menu. Tried fixing the problem, thining it was on my end. Had to send a report that was due.....it included photos that were not allowed to go over 100 kb. Soooo frustrated!!! I may need to switch to another major internet provider as I'm paying for this email service.
