To investigate this issue, please provide a screenshot of the page you’re seeing.

Here’s how:

1. Go to the page that you’re having trouble with and then press the “PrintScreen” (PrintScrn) button on the keyboard.
2. Open MS Paintbrush. To do this, click “Start,” then “All programs,” and then click “Accessories.”
3. Click “Paint.”
4. Click “Edit,” and then click “Paste.” The screenshot is pasted on your program.
5. Click “File,” and then click “Save as.”
6. Under Save as Type, select “JPEG.”
7. Name the file, and then save the file on the desktop.

Check out the Private Data below.

I know it would be a waste of time contacting you to sort this out. I am telling everyone I know to leave Windows live and use something else!

Useless!

Below is a message I got form a tech guy. I have never had any troubleshooting issues with my windows program. The tracing folder only came on to my work computer and home computer when I had issue with you and my closed account. You are telling me that you are not tracing my activities, I DO NOT BELIEVE YOU!

Your issue has been forwarded to us at Windows Live Messenger Technical Support. My name is Ariane and I am glad to assist you.

I gather that whenever you sign in to Windows Live Messenger or Hotmail on your work or home computer a tracing folder comes into your C drive. I understand how this concerns you. Let me help.

John, let me inform you that this is by design. The purpose of that folder is to be used only when troubleshooting issues that you may encounter with the program. Let me assure you that Microsoft never monitors your instant messages or your webcam, voice, or video conversations. Also, Microsoft does not record or store any Personally Identifiable Information to monitor the performance of these services.

I hope this helps. Should you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us back.

@ jumper939

This is related to Windows Live Messenger program and not your Windows Live Hotmail e-mail. If you have any issues or concerns with these tracing folders, please make a follow-up with their team.

Since the e-mail you received was from Windows Live Messenger Technical Support, it would be very appropriate if you send them a reply to that e-mail so that they'll be aware of your concerns.
