Received an error message while using the Incredimail program to download Hotmail email.

While downloading my Hotmail e-mail the download jumped from 1 to 30 and when the Incredimail program finished downloading it stated: "Operation Incomplete" and then a pop up window opened which read: "One or more (29 total) messages could not be recived from the (Hotmail) server. For assistance, please contact your ISP." Incredimail Error: Keylib ERROR #28 -> EXP DATE EMPTY.

It's been two weeks since this happened, and the same problem still exists after all the messages are download from Hotmail to my Incredimail program. A total of 29 messages are still hungup on the Hotmail server. They are not in my Hotmail inbox adn Incredimail says it's not their program. Please help.

Try to reconfigure your account in IncrediMail and see if that resolves the issue.

If the issue persists, please post your e-mail address so we can investigate.

Hi Captain Happy,

I'm sorry about this problem. I've already done a back-end fix to your account, which can help resolve this problem. Reconfigure your Incredimail e-mail client first by using the POP3 settings from this solution blog:

I'm new at this so I hope I am doing it right. Incredimail is doing it to me also. All new email is coming through but there are 2 "hidden" messages that it can't download and it gives me the same error message. Can you fix this for me also?

Thanks for the POP3 info. However, I had to reconfiger Outlook Express 'first'...then I reconfigered Incredimail by simply deleting the hotmail account and recreated a new hotmail account by letting Incredimail allow me to choose which option to choose. I picked "Outlook Express" with the new POP3 settings (per the link given me) and everything is back to normal again.

THANK YOU! :-)

How did you get POP settings in Incredimail? It goes to the defaualt http server in mine. Did you put in a different server? Did Outlook Express cleanse the bad files or did support? I use only the Incredimail because of the email archiving capabilities.

Support may have to work on mine also before I can get it to go away. I'll keep trying later. Will keep in touch and wait to hear from support that they have fixed it for me.

Darn! I thought I had the Hotmail problem fixed. Using Pop3, I can now download e-mail, but I can no longer send e-mail out of Microsoft Office Outlook (2003), Outlook Express, or from Incredmail under Port 25. I can ONLY sent outgoing Hotmail email with Windows Live or from the Hotmail website. Please Help.

New errors: Under Outlook Express, the Outgoing error...

The connection to the server has failed. Account:

'Hotmail (1)', Server: 'smtp.live.com', Protocol: SMTP,

Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10060, Error

Number: 0x800CCC0E

------------------------
Under Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, the Outgoing error...

Task 'Hotmail - Sending' reported error (0x8004010F) :

'The operation failed. An object could not be found.'

Please Help.
