Please help!

I have gotten three different emails that have hijacked my account, emailed all of my contacts a Spam message about electronics.  Once was called Vanigo.  One was called kanicn.com.  It appears that the message comes into my inbox (not sure why it doesn't get stopped by the filters, everything else pretty much does) and then sends itself to all of my contacts.  It also creates a vacation responder. 

I've learned how to restore my contacts and turn off the vacation responder.  My question is why does it keep happening to me?  Is it simply an email thread that I can't do anything to stop?  Or could it be a virus that is affecting my local computer?  I thought that all of my Windows and antivirus software was up to date. 

Can someone please help me shed some light on to what is causing this?  I am getting tired of it happening over and over again.

I am having this same problem.  I cannot send or reply to any emails now due to this hacker.  I work from home and need to send emails.  Will the 24 hour ban of me not being able to send emails be lifted and if so, for how long? I changed my passwords on all my accounts and made them all different. I also chose "no" to the vacation reply in "options" that this hacker set up and deleted the email he/she wrote and was sending as my vacation reply.  I'm not sure what else to do.  Here is the email this hacker sent out. Last week my email was apparently hacked.  There was a vaction message added to my account advertising an electronics website.  It then sent the vaction reply out to all of my contacts.  When this was done all of my contacts disappeared.  I can work with not having my contacts, but this happend for a second time this week.  The virus somehow sent out the message once again to all of my contacts even though there are no longer any contacts on this account.  Now when I go to write a new email the message that was on the vaction reply appears.  Please, please, please tell me what I can do to get rid of this.  My friends are going to kill me of my email keeps sending this spam out to them.

I did change my password, but I don't know what else to do.

same thing happened to me. yesterday. when i reported the problem to microsoft customer support they were useless. so i changed my password and changed the vacation auto reply etc. email worked fine all day and then upon arrival at home found that microsoft had closed my email account for spam abuse.

i've had it with microsoft... the problem is with them not your computor.

Will someone from microsoft reply to my concern and help me fix the issue? How did you contact microsoft! I'd much rather talk toa live person, but there are no phone #'s. Will an employee of microsoft eventually answer my questions posted here?

I've had the same problem with my hotmail account.  This is the 2nd time in the last few months that an e-mail has been sent to all my contacts without my knowledge. Is there anything that can be done to stop this from happening again?

The same thing happened to me  SUBJECT:  Secure Shopping  referencing the following website:  http://www.nshopcn.com  and I completely lost my address book as well.  I found a way to get all the email addresses in order to warn my friends but should I notify anyone else?  My email is {removed email address} please advise
