This morning I received an email supposedly from Windows Live titled Email Account Verification Needed.

I did not open it and marked it as a phishing scam. Should I report this to Microsoft, and, if so, how do I do that.

Has anyone else received this type of email. Is it valid? I have read that these emails are phishing scams.

Hi Blue Sky 4291, the e-mail you received is a scam and you should not reply to it. Keep in mind that Hotmail representatives will never ask you for your current password. Please visit this link for more info about scam e-mails and what you should when you receive one:
