Hi - I set up a Windows live ID, all works fine with messenger but when logged into Windows live website I click 'mail' and am told "You do not have an inbox... yet". I follow the link to create one and get taken back to registering a new ID from scratch!  

Test e-mail sent to my log in ID bounces back, so I don't think it's thatI have an inbox and haven't found out how to access it yet.

I've probably missed something REALLY simple... lol - but I need e-mail linked to my Windows live ID. Any help appreciated!

I've checked your account and found out that the mailbox associated on it is not activated. To activate your Windows Live Hotmail account:
 
1. Please go to http://mail.live.com/ will take you to the Windows Live Hotmail sign in page.
2. Sign in to your account using the same password.. This

Thanks for the link - it takes me to the page I referred to above telling me I don't have an inbox yet.  There's nothing there to say 'activate, just a link to sign up for Windows Live Hotmail, which then takes me to the page for creating a new Windows Live ID... but I already have an ID!

Going round in circles here, I'm afraid!

Do you encounter the same issue when you launch a new browser window? If yes, try to sign in to your account on a different computer to isolate this issue further.

Well - I seem to have mail now! I did log on at work and found it then, maybe that sorted something?? Yay!!!  Thansk for your help :)
