ISSUE:

"I have been using Outlook Connector 12.0.6423.1000. I see that in some mail folders some email messages are blank except for the date when they are received. The From, To, Subject fields are blank and I do not see anything in the body of the email.

But all these messages are intact when I view them on Hotmail via a web browser. It’s just that only in Outlook, I see blank emails."

SOLUTIONS ALREADY TRIED:

1. I uninstalled Outlook Connector and reinstalled it, removed and added the same email account, deleted and added the mail profile form Control Panel<Mail<Profiles, rebooted windows each time. But all this to no avail.

2. Outlook Connector Support: http://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?gprid=11335 does not work. "I tried to visit the link that you mentioned above, but either of the support actions asks for a PID Key.  I tried both options - let MS find the PID key, and manually adding the PID key. Neither option works."

Try this, worked for me:

On another machine or windows login, setup outlook with connector and setup access to your hotmail account. All emails should come in like you see at hotmail.com. Than in outlook accounts, create a new data pst file (something like backup). Copy those emails in the hotmail folders to folders in the backup folders. Make sure it looks like you have them all. Then delete those emails out of the hotmail folder. If you want to be safe, you could skip the deleting and just create a new folder with a different name. On the machine/login with the issue, then send/receive so those emails go away (or manually delete them again). Then on the machine/login you just setup, copy the emails/folders back from backup to the hotmail account. Send and receive. Go back to the affected machine/login, send and receive and they should be back as full emails.

My understanding is all emails are tagged with an IDs. Outlook won't fix them because it beleives it already has them. By making copies, they get new IDs.

It does'nt work for me. When I copy the blank mail, it is still blank in the new pst folders.

Just checking, but you tried on a different windows login or machine that never had that hotmail account on it before?

I know if you try to copy them from the machine or login with the issue it will remain blank.
