Inactivity after long time no login

Hi, I'm using pop3 to get my email from my hotmail account. Is the rule of the 120 days of inactivity still applying then? So do I need to login every 120 days, or is the POP3 access valid, so my account won't be blocked? Thanks! More

Hi, Yes, accessing your account in an e-mail client using POP3 Protocol counts as a valid login. Also, I'd like to clarify that the inactivity period is now 270 days and not 30 days of non-activity. More

Sorry for the confusion dnguyen. Accessing your account via POP3 counts as valid log in. Your account will not be marked inactive even if you don't access it via Web UI. More
