This solution article provides information about how to add or delete a Messenger contact in Windows Live Hotmail.
To add or invite your friend to the Messenger contact list in Windows Live Hotmail, please try the following steps:
1. On the Action bar, on the Messenger status menu, click View Messenger contacts.
2. On the toolbar, click New.
3. Enter the contact information you want to add, and click Save. If you enter the Personal e-mail, invitation e-mail will be sent to the friend.
To delete a Messenger contact in Windows Live Hotmail, please try the following steps:
1. On the Action bar, on the Messenger status menu, click View Messenger contacts.
2. Turn on the check box at left of the display picture of the contact that you want to block, and then click Delete.
