Lost contacts and e-mails

All my contacts disappeared when I logged in to MSN yesterday and then when I tried to check my e-mails, all my e-mails disappeared too!! All the e-mails (saved, sent, etc) were gone. I couldn't figure out why.

How can I get the contacts and emails back, and prevent this from happening again?

Hi, ive not checked my account for a long time until today. I've had an account since 2003 and all e-mails from that date are now missing! two months ago i booked a trip to america with all comfirmation bein sent to my hot mail account and now i cannot receive the info which causes me a major problem!! can u help?

Missing email after being locked out of acct

After finally being able to get back into my acct after many months, Ive found that ALL of my emails have been removed. My contacts remain, but no email. Ive had this acct for about 10 years. Needless to say Im missing a CONSIDERABLE amount of email. Please help.

hello

i loged into my account last week and noticed that all of my emails have been deleted and they are not even in the deleted folder i have not deleted any of the emails myself. is there any way that i can get them recovered?

Hi Nick,

Unfortunately, we have no way of determining what caused the issue. It is a good idea to copy your e-mails out of hotmail and store them on your computer, so that if the same issue happens in the future you will have a back-up copy of your messages.
