In the last week and a half I have not been receiving e-mails to my account from known senders or otherwise.  I checked my Junk Mail filters and that is not the reason I'm not receiving e-mails.  Can someone please investigate this issue.  Thanks so much!

I am having the same problem as RickyRo125. One of my friends with a hotmail account is not receiving my emails. I have not changed any setting and neither has she and the emails are not going to junk. HELP!! We need to communicate.

I'm travelling and am currently using my hotmail account to recieve work and personal e-mails.  There are many account holders posting questions regarding this issue.  I really don't believe it's a filter issue but apparently a system issue.  Any suggestions or insight would be most welcome.  Please help!!!

The issue is not one specifically related to a filter or setting issue.  I'm not receiving e-mails.  At all.  My junk e-mail and block sender settings are fine. Actually, my junk e-mail folder is empty. I sent myself an e-mail from my work e-mail address and did not receive it in my hotmail account.  Nor did I receive a notification form the Hotmail server explaining or giving a reason as to why the e-mail was not received.  Can someone please look into why I'm not receiving e-mails?  Thanks!

To further investigate your concern, I need to ask some information. Please provide your email account and include the sender's account. Does the sender receive any bounce messages? If yes, post a copy of it with full message headers exposed. Confirm if you're able to receive replies or forwarded messages from the sender and if the sender can’t send messages to all Windows Live Hotmail users.

Hi I am having the same problem

The senders emails are : {removed email address}, {removed email address} and {removed email address} but i suspect there are others too.  I have always recieved emails from these people in the past.

Ever since hotmail said they upgraded in mid-october, i periodically can not receive mail. it's happening again

This is NOt my problem. It only started when Windows "upgarded" in mid-october. please fix, i am travelling for work and wo mail, it is a disaster

I am not receiving new email from my account. I have went trhough the trouble shooting below and everything is setup correctly. I stopped receiving emails around 6am CST.

Will someone please look into this?

I have had the same problem since mid-October and my job depends on email.  So far today, I have received no emails since 6:37 a.m. (current time is 10:24 a.m.).  This is impossible since I know people who have sent me emails.  I go for several hours with no emails and then several come all at once.  When I receive emails I look at the time sent and the time received and it is taking several hours for emails to get to me. 

I am having the same issue, as of 8 am this morning november 3rd.  Can send, but cannot receive.

This problem started today 11/03/09. I can also send emails, but can't receive it for some reason.

Same problem for me.  Can send but not receive.  Started today about 9/9:30 CT.
