I've lost all my contacts as a result of having my email account hijacked and the settings changed so it sends out my vacation reply promoting an electrical company.

I've read that I have to give you my email and three contacts to correct the problem.

Three Contacts:

I'd appreciate you getting back to me on this as I've emailed several of the advisors on this website and no one has replied.

I was able to successfully recover your missing contacts. I’ve sent the list to your Hotmail account. Check out the e-mail with WLSC Recovered Contacts subject.

BTW, to ensure that you successfully receive our message, I suggest that you temporarily lower your account’s Junk E-mail Filter setting. Go here for the steps:

This also happened to my account today.  Someone hijacked my e-mail account and sent a spam message to everyone in my contacts, and then deleted my contacts.  Based on your other posts, seems I should simply change my password?  However, are my e-mails now accessible to the hacker?  How about my passwords and other information?

Once you have changed your password and secret question, the hacker would no longer have access to your e-mail and other information.  You may use several combinations of letter cases and numbers to make your password harder to decode.
