For about 10 days I have been unable to read my mail in hotmail. I have windows live and am using explorer 8. I can bring up the email but when I click on it, it does not open. Also none of the other clickable fields on the screen do anything. I called a friend and he suggested that I use the browser Foxfire to access the hotmail. It worked. I can bring up mail and answer it. This leads me to believe there is something wrong with explorer 8 or windows live. Any ideas? Thank you.

Can you ensure that you've optimized your browser properly? Steps on how to optimize IE is provided in this link:

HTTP Version: Some folks have reported that altering the version of HTML that IE uses helps resolve their issue. In IE: Tools, Internet Options Advanced, locate the entry HTTP 1.1 settings and uncheck Use HTTP 1.1. You may have to exit and reload IE for the change to take effect.
