Hello:

I setup my hotmail account to send & receive messages using Outloook Express 2007.

I followed all the instructions, but still can't send any messages using my hotmail account.

The error message is as follow:

"Send test e-mail message: Your server does not support the connection encryption type you have specified. Try changing the encryption method. Contact your mail server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP) for additional assistance."

The encryption used for both incoming and outgoing is SSL.

Any clue???

Blondyhav, please verify from your ISP if Port 25 is blocked. If it is, use Port 587 instead. If both ports are blocked, then ask your ISP for a port number that’s not blocked on their end.
