My hotmail is not displaying correctly.  I have made no changes to my account, yet when my inbox, or any other box is displayed, I have garbage on the screen.   For instance, with the inbox displayed, underneath my very first email received, there is a "ghost line" that is a duplicate of the "New Delete Junk Mark As Move to" menu showing up.  Halfway down the page, the Hotmail trailer shows up with the # of messages and the page #'s.   This occurs no matter which mailbox I have opened.  

I have cleared cookies, history and temp files, logged off, logged on and nothing clears this.   I have made no changes to my settings.  What is causing this issue?   it's been like this for about 4 days.

I am having the exact problem; thought I did something in error.  Uninstall Windows Live Mail and Messenger and to no avail.    I have done everything you did as well; I am hoping someone can help.  I searched for resolutions on this and other websites without success.  

My hotmail has miraculously fixed itself over night.  Hope yours has too.

And now it's back to looking like trash again.  What's the deal HOTMAIL?

Earlier this morning I was able to view my mail no problem. Now, a totally different home screen comes up and I am not able to view any of my mail. I even tried creating a new account just so I could send an e-mail but I am still having the same problem. Is hotmail reformatting their system? How can I fix this?

Mine is the same way; I cannot even go to Page 2.   I am now reading my mails in my gmail account which I had linked to hotmail.   Thank God I did that.

I followed the steps exactly as stated; I am using IE 8.  The problem has not been resolved.

Please post your e-mail address so we can look into your issue. Also, please confirm if you encounter the said issue when accessing your account from another computer with different Internet connection.

I see now, this is only doing it on my work computer now.  The home computer is working fine at the moment.  They must have pushed a patch of some sort at work.   I will just have to live with it as I cannot change system settings on my computer at work.

After I've checked your account and I’ve found out that your account acquires Verizon with MSN Premium subscription. With this, I suggest that you contact the technical support of Verizon.  They’re the appropriate team that can fully address your concern because they’re the one who can fully access your account. I've had Verizon with MSN Premium for over 10 years; this problem started 2 weeks ago with Windows Live.   It's not a Verizon problem ... it's a Window issue.   There are ongoing changes with Windows and Outlook, etc. which cause major issues for users, and I am hoping that this display matter will be addressed and fixed and not "passing the buck".

I understand that you may feel that you are being bounced from one support group to the other, but they are the correct team to contact for this particular issue that’s why I’m referring you to them.

Verizon said it's not their problem; (I contacted them on this 1 week ago)  and if it's not a window problem then what it is?  What happens to other members with the same experience.   I have using GMAIL to acess my emails.  Is there anyway I can revert to the original way of accessing hotmail?  There are too many issues with the  new Windows Live.
