When I signed up for hotmail live, I accidently did my email account from my server twice. I receive two messages each time and cannot figure out how to cancel one of the aggragated accounts.

When I try to send an email, through my work server, I get this response.

What can I do to fix this

missing deleted items folder

I set up outlook as an imap account so I can better manage my gmail email from multiple devices. I can't seem to find a dleted items folder in outlook as I need to find a message I deleted. I do so a Trash!

Windows Live Hotmail Plus and Outlook Connector

As I have now installed Outlook Connector, do I still need to upgrade my hotmail account to Hotmail Plus. I upgraded this before, as this was the only way that I could have my hotmail account coming into Outlook, but now Connector does this, do I still need to upgrade?

I see the other benefits of Windows Live Hotmail Plus allows me 10 gigabytes of space - but I don't think I need this - so do I need to upgrade or not?

Folder Sync Outlook 2003 with Outlook Connector

This issue is with Outlook 2003 with Outlook connector.

I want Outlook/Outlook Connector to display and synchronise my personal folders just like OE used to do.

It does not do this. I don’t care about calendar sync or contacts sync, I care about personal folder sync and it seems that the one feature I do need has been taken away.

I have tried Windows Live Mail but it is too bloated in size and contains too many junk features which are of no use to me at all. I just want to manage email like I did with OE.

Do you understand that what is required is a simple, reliable tool to manage multiple email accounts including Hotmail. OE did this very well until you destroyed it.

Why can't you fix Outlook and Outlook Connector and make it work like OE?

Hotmail and Incredimail

I am unable to send emails from my hotmail account in Incredimail, I can receive emails without a problem but hotmail emails will not send with an error code of

Socket Error: 10013 , Port: 25, Protocol: SMTP.An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions.

I have no problems sending from any other account other then hotmail, incredimail basically said it's not on their end.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Windows live and Iphone

Hi,

I recently got an iphone and I'm trying to hook it up to the mail program on iphone. I've selected the "other" option and entered my information. However, only one folder appears. The inbox. Where are the rest of the folders? I have 2 emails coming into my live account, which have their own folder so I want to be able to look at those folders. Any ideas how I can fix this problem?

Apple Mail Client Rejects Hotmail Password

I continue to get this error message when trying to retrieve mail from my hotmail plus account through my Apple mail client:

The POP server “pop3.live.com” rejected the password for user “******@hotmail.com”

I am using these settings:

Outgoing mail server: smtp.live.com

Port: 25

SSL Checked

Password Auth

Incoming mail server: pop3.live.com

Port: 995

SSl Checked

Password auth

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

inbox didnt import

hello,

on october 30th i was trying to setup my girlfriends msn account ({removed email address}) on her laptop using MS outlook 2003. it started to run and looked like it will take a long time so we left it over night. when we checked it the next day it looks like it dumped her sent items in her inbox and didnt get any of her received items. i checked online and all of her emial was deleted. i did change outlook to leave a copy on the server but im very dissapointed that it wasnt set as default. now she is misisng several months of email. can someone please help.

Outlook Express quit working

I have reset my Outlook Express acording to the instructions, and all was well until 11/11/09, when it suddenly quit sending email. It is still receiving email OK. I have tried port 25 and 587, with the same results. I get ther error messages here:

What happened on Nov 11th? How can I get Express working again? I use businness software programs that must have O E in order to send emails to clients!

Apologies for a question that has probably been asked many times - I have looked but cant find any answer.

I am setting up hotmail for a friend as a pop3 account on outlook (2003) on his pc. Is there any option to leave copies of all messages on hotmail (as is possible with googlemail) or not? If there is such an option, where do I find it?

I assume that if the option does not exist then any email downloaded to outlook is then immediately removed from hotmail online.

Emails repeating downloaded to my Outlook

I have an MSN account which connects with my Outlook 2007 via Outlook Connector. I keep my active messages on the servers and I have been experiencing repeated downloads of all the emails on server to my account as if they are new messages. Now I have several duplicates of every email in my account. How can I prevent this from happening?

Untill 2 days ago I used the DAV protocol in Apple Mail.

I got a mail from Hotmail to tell me DAV is off and to change into POP3 protocol,

i recreated my account in Apple Mail with all the correct settings and I keep getting this error;

The POP server “pop3.live.com” rejected the password for user “***_s****”

Please re-enter your password, or cancel.

Unable to log in using my phone

Hi Folks!

I can sign in to my hotmail account on my laptop but when I try to sign in on my phone it won't even load up the sign in page, this problem has occured after my phone was sent away for repair as I was previously able to sign in etc. Orange have resent the settings to my handset and it made no difference. Please help as it will save me booting my pc up every time I want to check my mail!

i have followed the instructions for adding my live.com account to outlook express. it downloaded all of the emails in my inbox, but will not send an outgoing message. i am not actually using outlook express, but the latest version, Windows Mail. the whole reason i'm doing this is because i need a read receipt. i have been trying all day, please help!

No longer able to send/receive hotmail e-mails through Microsoft Outlook 2007. Receiving error "0x800CCC33" - Access to the account was denied. Verify username & password. The server responded "forbidden". Deleted account and re-created it to see if that would resolve the issue. Didn't work.

Can you please provide instructions on how to fix this error so that I can start using Microsoft Outlook 2007 to send/receive e-mails.

I want to use outlook express to receive my e-mails from my hotmail account. I have it set up on a PC, now I want to set this feature up on a laptop.
