The most common cause of the condition you have described is the browser being used. To make sure that browser being used by your friend is not causing this issue, I recommend that you advise your friend to optimize his or her browser settings. hotmail screen - right side partly blocked out

A friend of mine is now using hotmail and when see selects options, part of the view

is blocked by a white out area. Can not figure out what is causing it or how to get rid of it.

I have a screen shot of the error and can send it to anyone that can help me.
