This is regarding the various complaints that you all have been reporting about the Ads in Hotmail UI.

We thank you for your feedback about the ads in Hotmail. We care deeply about providing a great experience to our users and have strict policies about ad experiences (see http://advertising.microsoft.com/creative-acceptance-policy). While we do have processes in-place to ensure all ads meet our requirements, we occasionally get ads served from advertising partners that push the boundaries of acceptability to our users. That’s where we need your help in identifying these ads so we can remove ads that are out of policy, and evolve our policies in the future.

We realize installing ad blockers may solve your problem. In the long run, this will take away our and other ad-funded sites’ ability to continue to provide services for free. We are continually working to improve your experience and that includes the quality of the advertisements displayed.
