cannot write emails & are sent to wrong people!!!

Could I get an answer this time? While typing emails it automatically sez at top "Saved as draft and then the time of day" Why is it doing thisj? then i cannot finish my email!!!! AND it sends, to other people on my contact list when i only clicked on one.Do I need to cancel Hotmail?

Electronic Signature Problem

I have deleted my electronic signature and still get 5 blanks lines with every message. On replies, this is particularly annoying. The electronic signature box is empty of all characters including spaces. Any suggestions?

Can't read or delete emails

Hi, I can't open or delete any of my emails. I can select them but when i click on delete nothing happens. When i click on my email, it just highlights and does nothing. I can't look at my junk folder either. It doesn't say anything about an error, it just doesn't do anything.

Plz help!

Cannot retrieve emails

I am able to enter my password, but emails do not come up from my desktop computer. I AM able to retrieve emails from my laptop. Am I locked out somehow from my PCHELP!

Printing of messages

I can not print all of the message that I have received. For instance, I buy something and then receive a confirmation by e-mail. I can not print the whole message Is this a hotmail problem or a printing problem. If it is a printing problem. can you tell me how can I correct it.

Advertisment Box blocking my view of email

Hello,

I have been a Hotmail user for about a decade. I now have a problem that is pretty frustrating. There is now a box on the right side of my email window containing advertisments that is blocking my view of emails. The text of my emails runs behind this box/frame and I cannot see/read them. I have to select text, copy and paste into a word processor to be able to read my emails.

I used to have several "paid" Hotmail accounts, in order to permit a higher quantity of photo's into various MSN groups. Since MSN groups have been closed, I no longer have any need of the paid for service and have not renewed the service.

I have found no "X" or any way to close that box. If this is something I am stuck with related to the free email account, I will reluctantly be forced to open an email account elsewhere. My wife has a free yahoo email account and she is able to view her emails without a word processor or any extra steps. If I find out this is intentional or unrepairable, it will be the last straw.

replying or composing new e-mail messages

Good Morning! Why is it, when I reply to a message or compose a new message the heading above disappears. The heading such as SEND, ATTACH ETC. The heading is visible when I first start replying or compose a new message. However, once I start typing to reply or compose the new message the heading is no longer visible. SEND, ATTACH is no longer visible at the top of my screen within seconds of me composing a new e-mail or replying to one. It just simply disappears. Can you please help me solve this?

E-mails will not open

I cannot open any of my e-mails, although I receive them. I cannot access any page of the account except the first page of the inbox. It's as though all the links are disconnected.

Saving to drafts

Please please please how can I stop my e.mails saving to draft. I cannot continue to write once this has happened. I can continue with the message at a rate of one letter per 10 seconds.

Why has this been introduced and what purpose is it serving.

I now write my messages on word and attach.

I have arthirits and cannot type very quickly so my message is saved before the first line is complete.

Saving drafts

I have a windows live mail account. Everytime I am writing an email it automatically saves a draft. In doing so I am unable to continue typing fluidly. I am unable to continue typing however it is really slow and frustrating. Can i turn off this function? Please advise.

Spell Check Not Working

I've tried several times refreshing and closing completely down, however, the spell check is still not working.

autocomplete in To: box

Hi Folks!

When composing a mail hotmail has its own autocomplete in the To: box of the email composition. I have obsolete email addresses that come up in the To: though however. I want to clear them out of that cache but I cannot figure out how to delete them. I have cleared my internet cache and that didn't help which is how I discovered it is totally independent of the workstation I am on. I have checked my contacts, but these addresses were not present in them either. Can anyone tell me how to clear these? thanks!!!

Speed while writing a Hotmail message

I have searched this site for this issue and it seems pretty popular. I am not an extraordinarily fast typist, but I regularly type faster than Hotmail can process. The cursor seems to lock up, it seems to hang, I have to wait up to ten or fifteen seconds for responsiveness to return.

The "answers" tell me to change my browser settings, I've done the whole processe - delete cache and cookies, etc. etc. several times and it never makes a difference.

I have noticed - perhaps it's wishful thinking - that it gets worse when Hotmail automatically saves to DRAFT. It also seems (??) to be better if I save a DRAFT, then close the message by moving to my INBOX or something, return to the DRAFTS folder and continue composing the message. But it's a temporary workaround, before long I am frustrated again!

In recent days I've started to see "Internet Explorer encountered a problem" messages -- at first I allowed it to seek a solution, but that just hung things up. Then I started to cancel the "looking for information" message (or whatever it is...) and chose the option to shut down IE. Finally, I essentially ignored the popup....and guess what? Everything usually keeps on working just fine.

Sometimes, if I leave my session for a while then return, IE is in an unresponsive state and I have to shut it down via Task Manager....

The speed is an issue unique to Hotmail - no other program or website behave this way but it does happen on different machines that I use to access my account. And it's been going on for quite a while now - like MONTHS. I am a heavy Hotmail user - perhaps my exposure makes me more aware.

I am running VISTA machines with IE8; the slowdowns happen no matter what kind of message I am composing -- new, reply, forwarded, whatever. My ISP performance is fantastic. Every other app. and website I use is performing at acceptable speeds.

How can I get a better answer than "adjust your browser settings?"

When creating an outgoing message and enter just first letter in the to area the system will recall people

that you have previously emailed and/or people in your address book for quick look up reference. is there a way to delete that history from there ?? There are emails in there not appropriate to be seen over my shoulder if know what I mean ...
