I checked your account and found that it has now been marked as "Inactive." The e-mail services of your account is now closed.

But please be advised that the Windows Live ID that's associated with your account will remain active and will only be fully closed if there will be no activity detected from your account until the next maintenance cycle.

I have unsubscribed mobile service now but still I am receiving this message whose address is not found!!!-

To close your Windows Live Hotmail account, you must first cancel your billing service. Go to Microsoft Account and Billing Services at https://billing.microsoft.com.

Thanks for ur fast reply...but pls. do help to terminate my account asap

I have checked our records and have verified that your Windows Live Hotmail account is currently associated with "MSN Mobile SMS Communications 1" subscription.

If you are being billed on your credit card, I suggest that you contact our billing team at (866) 672-4551 and let them know that you would like to have your subscription cancelled. Please inform them that you need this subscription removed so that you can close your Windows Live ID. This team will then be able to investigate how you were signed up for a mobile service just in case you did not request for this service.

However, if this service is not included in your credit card bill, please contact your mobile phone carrier for more information on how you can cancel the subscription. The mobile subscription that is reflected in our system could have been set-up by your mobile or wireless carrier.

Once your subscription has been cancelled, you can now close your account by following these steps:

1. Visit http://account.live.com
2. Sign in by using your Windows Live ID and password.
3. Click "Settings."
4. In the right pane, click "Close your account." You will receive the following message: "Are you sure you want to close <your account>"
5. Enter your password in the Password box.
6. Click Yes. You will then receive: "Cannot close <your account>, as there is a Microsoft email account associated with your account."
7. Click "Close your Microsoft account."
8. Click "Close my account." You will receive the following message: "Your account has been closed and scheduled for deletion."

There is a Microsoft e-mail account (Windows Live Hotmail) associated with your account, so you can't close your Windows Live account immediately. To close your Windows Live account, you need to close your Microsoft e-mail account first. After a period of inactivity, your Windows Live account will automatically be closed. Close your Microsoft account.

i want to close my account as soon as possible as i am unable to do so!!!
