I have reviewed your accounts and have found out that there were blocked by our automated spam filters. I have unblocked them and you should now be able to send your messages properly.

Hi there,

Is there anything I can do ?

The only time i ever send emails from this account is for work purposes. I only ever send emails from my home to school account with maybe an english essay attached. I don't see how I have managed to send 'spam' or violate the terms and conditions !?

Sorry if I am being completely niave but is there anything anyone can doo..? I am getting to many detentions for late prep!

Hi, I have just set up a windows live account, I sent some e-mails to friends (to let them know of my new e-mail address) and now it is no longer allowing me to send. I keep getting an error msg "This account is currently blocked from sending messages. If you don't think you've violated the Windows Live Terms of Use, please contact customer support" Could you please let me know how to over come this problem????

Hi there, I have just recently changed my hotmail address and have sent it to all my contacts. Some of them have emailed me back and it wont let me reply to them and i keep getting a message saying "This account is currently blocked from sending messages . If you dont think you've violated windowes live terms of use please contact customer support." I have not violated the terms and i am not sending spam. This has been happening for the last 3 days and today has been the only day i have been able to send a email. Please can you help me.

Can you unblock my account if I received following error message (or you cannot do anything)? I am positive that I did not spam (instead, I have been receiving lots of spams).

Hi Kat,

I've found out that the system has identified your account to be in violation of our terms of use. Activities like sending unwanted e-mail or "spam", abusive or harassing e-mail and Phishing or account fraud (whether tagged by the system or by your recipients) will trigger this block. When this happens, the ability to send using the account will not be possible. I can't unblock the account.

I am having the EXACT same problem, as far as I'm concerned I haven't done anything differently and it only stopped me today.
Could you possibly do the same for me ?

and the message i'm getting is :

I’ve unblocked your account as well. You may now continue sending your emails.

To help prevent your account from being blocked again, use these tips:

• Check your contacts and recipients lists to make sure that only people who want to receive the messages will receive your messages.
• Reduce the number of messages that you send to large groups of people so that they are less likely to think your messages are unwanted mail.
• Limit the number of chain letters, e-mail jokes and other messages that you send to help people recognize your mail as wanted and to make it more likely that your message will be allowed past your recipients' junk mail filters.
• Check all the contacts in your address book to make sure that the accounts are still active.
