I’ve already increased your account sending limits. Please be advised that violating these Terms of Use or our anti-spam policy may result to your account being closed or suspended at any time and without any notice.

Please make sure that you are not sending unsolicited bulk e-mail from your Hotmail account. I suggest you keep your contact lists and address books current, because a high volume of returned e-mail or non-deliverable e-mail may cause your account to be suspended.

Re: Reached Limit

THank you, my address is:

However, please keep in mind that the ability to send a high volume of e-mail from your Hotmail account includes a greater responsibility to make sure that you're complying with our Terms of Use and our anti spam policy. You can review them at http://tou.live.com and http://privacy.microsoft.com/en-us/anti-spam.aspx.

Also, please post your Hotmail e-mail address so I can check if it's sending limit has been increased.

Re: Reached Limit

OK, I just went to the website and upgraded my service. Two things though. First, it still isn't working but probably not enough time has passed. Second, the confirmation says this:

The Windows Live Hotmail Plus yearly subscription of $19.95 plus tax includes 10 Gigabytes of total Windows Live Hotmail account space, the ability to send larger attachments, and exemption from the account expiration policy.

But, before you buy the service, it also says this:
Bigger distribution lists. Send e-mails to a much larger group of recipients than with regular Hotmail.

I just want to be sure that an ability to send emails to more than 250 people within the same day is an option included in this upgraded service.

Re: Reached Limit

Hi MKEgirl,

Please visit the link below to determine how to increase your account’s sending limit:

Please save your message and send it later."

I am in charge of our local car club, and we have nearly 200 members now and continue to grow. All of these members have opted "in" to receive a monthly message and I include on the bottom of the email a note to let recipients know that if they sell their car, I am happy to remove them from the e-newsletter list. Increasingly after I send out monthly e-newsletter to the club members, I am then being blocked from sending further messages for a 24-hour time period. This is a challenge for me as I also have my own business and use this email address as my primary way of communicating with prospective clients. Also, after sending the message, a lot of people reply to me right away with further questions and/or to RSVP for upcoming events and it prevents me from responding to them in a timely manner.

Is there a way to be granted permission to send messages to a larger grouping before hitting the limit and receiving this message?
