Live Mail Can't send or receive

I installed Windows 7 upgrade from Vista yesterday and had to install Live Mail since Windows Mail does not work with this version of Windows. I set up my account, downloaded mail and everything was ok, checked mail this morning, it was fine. This afternoon I tried checking my messages and I immediately (no delay whatsoever) get an error message that says:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Gmail (albalma) account. The host 'pop.gmail.com' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly.

The other computer we have can download and access pop.gmail.com with Windows Mail. What is the problem and how can I solve it?

i use windows live mail to pull all my different email accounts into one place and have been doing this for ages. My daughter upgraded yesterday and since then i cannot see a name in the "To" column, which is really annoying as I have five different accounts for all the family going into live mail.

It was fine until the upgrade, all the names are showing and correct up until yesterday's upgrade and any mail received after that isn't showing which mailbox it was sent to.

Any thoughts on this? All the accounts are hotmail accounts.

I cannot download the newest version of windows live. It all loads in then "rolls back" the programs out of the computer. It worked fine for years until I tried to update to the newest version. I wish I left it a lone now because the old version is gone now too! I have tried to fix it many times with no effect. It really sucks, I just want the older one back now.

While prepairing for the download it says I have messenger. Not true, I did until this error erased it as well.

It says two error codes 0x80004004 & 0x80070643...I can find no relavent information on either. I have spent way too much time on this. I don't need to share pictures anyway.

I'm using xp. What can I do?.... If there is no easy solution for this I will look for another program to take its place.

Does google offer a similar program?

If not I will have to go through google to get to hotmail the old fashoned way...Which I've been doing for a month now!!!.....

p.s. I only want to here about solutions that take less than 10 min because I dought they will work anyway, and I'm tired of wasting my time.

The account on record for the billing is not longer available. My hotmail account of $19.95 was charged to it yesterday. I need that payment cancelled and a new account set up. Can you help me or refer me to the correct area.

I'm having problems with messenger. It will open and sign me in but after 5-10 seconds it will close and sign me out of messenger. I try and re-open it but as soon as I put my mouse over it in the tray, the program disappears. I try and open it from the START menu but the same will happen. It has been happening for a week now and I'm gettin annoyed.

Beginning November 18, 2009, I was unable to "automaticly sign in". Until this date, I was automatically signed in everytime I went to Windows Live. What has happened? How can I get back to automatically signing in?

I have clicked on the remember my password and address and i was able to sign in automatically for a while, then it stopped and now I have to sign in each time, no mater how many times I click the remember key. What is the solution?

I have been getting this email very frequently for at least the past month and have been hesitant to folllow the links given. I have never made a request to change my password or have forgotten it. Is this a password phishing scheme or is someone trying to reset my password?

Sempre que vou enviar algum e-mail aparece uma mensagem de erro: No momento, Mensagens esta conta está impedida de enviar e-mail. Se você considera que não violou os Termos de Uso do Windows Live, Contate o Suporte ao cliente.

Acho que isso aconteceu depois que enviei um email para vários contatos, ultrapassando 100 emails diários.

Eu considero que não violei os Termos de Uso do Windows Live. Por favor, peço-lhes que desbloqueiem a minha conta.

windows live sync not syncing folders correctly

I have 3 computers syncing documents and one note notebooks. now I end up with 3 tabs "Daily log" or 3 of each word document instead of just adding what has been added from one computer. It also is not adding all the tabs from the notebooks yet says it has synced. ugh!!!
