After follow the instructions to add POP3 email account, i lost all my past e-mails! it contains so many important info there!

how can i reverse the setting? is it POP3 setting will not save the past e-mails in the web?

when i open it in Windows Live, it only shows the recent few e-mails.... where are the others?

If you didn’t enable the “Leave a copy of messages on server” option, the messages were downloaded to your e-mail client and were removed from our servers.

Post your e-mail address so we can try to recover the messages.

Yes, that is what happen to me when I use Thunderbird. However I have already transferred the mails to Outlook. But because the setting available for hotmail is pop not IMAP, how m I suppose to syn with the server? ...

Sadly, you can no longer view your messages once they've been downloaded to your other e-mail client. When you access your messages using the POP3 setting, it moves your messages from the Windows Live Hotmail e-mail server to your hard disk.
