Hi there, I have just recently changed my hotmail address and have sent it to all my contacts. Some of them have emailed me back and it wont let me reply to them and i keep getting a message saying "This account is currently blocked from sending messages . If you dont think you've violated windowes live terms of use please contact customer support." I have not violated the terms and i am not sending spam. This has been happening for the last 3 days and today has been the only day i have been able to send a email. Please can you help me.

i have the problem like alyssa.when i research solvation for this problem,i found that you may send any spam mails etc.but ı am a just amateur user and can't understand how the solvation could be.please help me tıı

Please also post the exact error message that you’re getting when sending e-mails, if there’s any. 

The exact same thing is happening to me.  Any news yet?

I just opened up a new account this morning. I then forwarded the new address to my contact list. After this I tried to send a personal email and received this message:

"This account is currently blocked from sending messages . If you dont think you've violated windowes live terms of use please contact customer support."

How can I solve this problem?

You can now use your account to send e-mail again. I’ve already unblocked it after I’ve verified that you’ve not violated our Terms of Use.

To help prevent your account from being blocked again, use these tips:

• Check your contacts and recipients lists to make sure that only people who want to receive the messages will receive your messages.
• Reduce the number of messages that you send to large groups of people so that they are less likely to think your messages are unwanted mail.
• Limit the number of chain letters, e-mail jokes and other messages that you send to help people recognize your mail as wanted and to make it more likely that your message will be allowed past your recipients' junk mail filters.
• Check all the contacts in your address book to make sure that the accounts are still active.

I am having the EXACT same problem, as far as I'm concerned I haven't done anything differently and it only stopped me today.
Could you possibly do the same for me ?

I've found out that the system has identified your account to be in violation of our terms of use. Activities like sending unwanted e-mail or "spam", abusive or harassing e-mail and Phishing or account fraud (whether tagged by the system or by your recipients) will trigger this block.  When this happens, the ability to send using the account will not be possible. I can't unblock the account.

Can you unblock my account if I received following error message (or you cannot do anything)?  I am positive that I did not spam (instead, I have been receiving lots of spams).
