If the contacts you were looking for was not included in the recovered contacts then it is possible that they have already been purged from the system even before I tried to retrieve them.

I will not be able to confirm the number of contacts you had on a certain date. We currently do not have the tools to verify that information.

I have confirmed that while most (80-90%) of my contacts are back; there are still some missing. Here is one specific email that was not included on the list sent to me; and neither is in the 8 contacts that were untouched:

I luckily save my sent emails; and that's how I was able to confirm this contact was not listed. Please review, and please check if there is any way to recover the rest of my contacts. Again, I very much appreciate all your time, hard work, and help with this. Thank you all!

I regret to say that we can no longer recover the e-mail addresses that are not included in the list that was sent to your Hotmail account. I wish I could be of more help.

If you have lost your contacts in other Windows Live service like Messenger, let us know so we can refer you to their support group.

Thank you Very much. I just realized my Messenger had all my contacts in the allow and block list, so all I had to do was re-add them all and re-organize them

Thanks for the info. I tried to recover your missing contacts. Sadly, nothing was recovered. It's possible that they were already purged from the server before I attempted to  recover them.

I have the same problem! Just today I have lost all my contacts except one. I have been using msn messenger for over 10 years and all the contacts are gone now.

How do I get help for this?

It seems i too had this problem today.

Signed onto MSN Messenger Live, and right before my very eyes my entire Contact list is being wiped one by one. From other posts I have reviewed you need my email and three that where on my Contact List. So here it goes.

I don't know if it makes much difference, but all my recent emails have also been wiped from my inbox... is there a solution to this issue?

Since the issue happened with Windows Live Messenger, you will have to contact their support team.

However, the issue occured on both my Messenger AND Windows Live profile. I understand I will need to contact the Messenger team to retrieve those contacts but in regards to my Windows Live profile...all friends in my network have disappeared and my hotmail contact list is empty. Are you able to help retrieve these email address which were not necessarily linked to my Messenger?
