benblack: I have the same issue. Tried the fix already detailed and it didn't work. I still print all ads, slider bar and Windows Live Hotmail menu items (inbox, junk, deleted, etc.).
benblack, to properly investigate the problem that you’re experiencing and help you out, post the following information here:
- Verify if the problem happens when printing any of your messages.
- Confirm if a similar issue occurs when using a different browser on your computer.
I also need a screenshot of the print preview of one of the messages that you’re encountering an issue with.
To display the print preview of your message, follow the steps below:
1. From your message list, right-click the message that you would like to print then select “Print.”

Select a message then click the printer icon.
2. Close the “Print” dialog box by clicking the “Cancel” button.
3. Right-clickon the "Windows Live Hotmail Print Message" window, then choose "Print Preview..."
To create a screenshot, refer to the following steps:
1. Press the "Print Screen" key located on the upper right hand corner of the keyboard.
2. Open your picture editor (example: Microsoft Paint).
3. Paste the screenshot by simultaneously pressing on “Ctrl” and “V” on your keyboard or by selecting “Paste” on the “Edit” drop-down button in Microsoft Paint.
4. Save the screenshot by simultaneously pressing on “Ctrl” and “S” on your keyboard or by selecting “Save” on the “File” drop-down button in Microsoft Paint.
5. Enter a filename and select JPEG as file type.
6. Click "Save."
