I recently had my account hacked, I believe when I used a public computer with a virus perhaps as mentioned previously on this site.  I have now changed my password and so on but my problem is this:  the spam email message about electronics that was sent to my contacts, appears in each message I send out to people.  I have to delete if from the new message field every time before I can type a new message.  I have already reset the "automatic vacation reply" which was how the message was being sent from the spammer. But even with that box unchecked, the problem continues.

this issue has now been solved by following instructions on deleting signatures.

If the spam message appears when you write e-mail, it’s possible that a personal e-mail signature has been added to your account.  Here’s how you can remove it:
 
1. Log in to your Hotmail account.
2. At the upper-right corner of the page, click Options and then select More options on the dropdown menu.
3. Under Customize your mail option, click the Personal e-mail signature link.
4. Highlight the texts in the box using your mouse.
5. Press the Delete key on your keyboard.
6. Click the Save button.
