This started happening about a week or more ago.  Now it's happening 100% of the time. 

I log into hotmail successfully.  At this point as long as I click a link within hotmail in quick succession (within a few seconds of each other) the links work and open the new page successfully (such as clicking on inbox, junk, new mail, etc).

However, if I wait a few seconds between clicking a link, for example let's say I've clicked reply and am typing an email to someone, when I finish my email and click 'send' the page never opens and the email is never sent.  It just hangs on opening the next page. 

Again, if I was to hit 'reply', and then hit send immediately it will send the email and the next page will open, but if I wait too long the 'send' button (or any link anywhere on hotmail) will cause the page to never load.

It's not just for sending emails, but it's for anything I click on in hotmail, any inbox/sent/junk link, etc. 

The only way to fix the problem is to hit refresh on the page at least once, sometimes it takes twice.  At this point I have to click or do whataver it was I wanted quickly..else if I take too long it will cause the page opening issues again.

I'm having the exact same issue using both the latest Firefox AND IE7.  Nothing has been newly installed on my PC within the last month, so I'm not sure what could have caused this to happen.  I have already tried uninstalling (the program, cookies, all temp internet files) and re-installing Firefox and the problem continues.

I'm running Vista 64bit Ultimate.

Still no reply?  This is becoming quite an issue for me.

I've tried using Internet Explorer 8 and had to go back to IE7.  Reason being, with IE8 there's a whole new issue where it almost never opens a new page.  I open IE8 to a blank page, type in any website and about 75% of the time the page never loads (just hangs on 'waiting for reply from.....".  But if I open up a 2nd instance of IE8 at the same time then the chance of it working is higher.  This has happened to both my desktop and laptop both running Vista 64bit.

Actually, another good example of my original issue happens here on the windowslivehelp.com site as well.  I took to long to reply to your post and when I click on 'Post' it just hangs on 'Waiting for windowslivehelp.com......' forever.

Same issue that I have with hotmail.  It's ONLY effecting hotmail or apparently this website as well.  Never happens on any other website.

Have you tried using another PC with different internet connection? If not, please do to isolate this issue.
