I have come back from vacation and tried logging onto my hotmail account when it says that it has been blocked due to 'Unusual Activity' and has told me to contact the help. This is what I'm doing now. I really need this e-mail as it is the one I have used for years and has all my accounts and passwords for everything I use online on it. You'll need to contact the Windows Live Technical Support Team (Windows Live ID).  They are the one who can why you got that error and modify your account settings so you can gain access to your account.  Here are the steps you'll need to get to their support page:

1.  Visit http://support.live.com/
2.  Click on Windows Live ID under Standard Services.
3.  Click on any topic under the FAQ.
4.  Click on Get more help located at the lower-right corner.
5.  The Additional help options for Windows Live ID page would open then please click on Get support.
6.  Complete the E-mail support form for Windows Live ID.
