In the last two months I FREQUENTLY find I am not able to go to or open certain messages.  When I try I get the message "could not perform operation because the default mail client is not properly installed".  I have gotten that message when I have been seeking information at a site that is not questionable, or when I have tried to click on an attachment or, the most recent when my daughter tried to send me pictures her daughter had sent her.  When I tried to go the the granddaughter's email I got the same message.  It is very frustrating.  I could see it if I were going to weird sites or questionable or whatever, but not when it is to a site I feel I should safely go.  And, as I said, it has been happening a lot in the last two months when before it happened only rarely.   I did go to a site, don't remember which one but it appeared to be sponsored by MSN, and could not find any help or usable information.  If you can help that would be great.

1. Your Hotmail account.
2. A detailed description of the steps that you took when you encountered the problem.
3. Confirm if you encounter the same error message when opening all your e-mails.
4. Confirm if the same issue happens when using another computer to access your account.
