this is a rarely used but established account. Now it seems to have a very low 24h-limit put upon it, can this be corrected? I need to send a message to my entire contact list.

I need to look into your account. Please reply to this post and include your Windows Live Hotmail e-mail address. I also need the exact wording of the error message that you receive when trying to send e-mails.

The error message is in swedish:

"Du har nått gränsen för antalet tillåtna skickade meddelanden under ett dygn. Spara meddelandet och skicka det senare."

and translates into something like:

"You have reached the limit for the number of messages allowed in 24 hours. Save your message and send it later."

I looked into the article you are referring to earlier, but since this isn't a new account there should be a 300 message limit? However his account is rarely used, and solely for a special occasion that takes place every December. This year I'm hosting it and I took over the account a few weeks ago, and probably no one has logged in since last December.

I've checked your account and found it working properly. Stricter limitations are applied to accounts that have been tagged by the system of activities that is representative of abusers sending spam. This is a temporary restriction and will be upgraded to the 300 limit as soon as the account establishes credibility in the system again.

Can you see what specific acitvities that may have triggered the limitations on my account? Because if inactivity isn't a trigger then I don't know what may have caused it since to my knowledge nobody has used the account since last December. Do I have reason to believe the account has been hi-jacked? For example how many times has the account been accessed in the last six months?

Please look into this because I really need full access to the service now!

We can't give out that kind of info to the public (even to their account owners) because of the Electronic Communications Privacy Act of 1986 (ECPA).

problem: exceeded 24-limit

I have also just experianced this problem. How does this get changed immediately? I have important email to get sent and I'm told to wait 24 hrs.? This is ridiculas.
