It is happening the same thing on my account.

It´s not a browser related, because I have logged with other accounts using IE8, Firefox, using my computer and different computers, and they can export easily.

However, my account has to many contacts on it, and when it seems that the csv file is going to be exported, the browser stops creating the csv file and the file is never created.

I am stuck with it, and I would like to hear about a fix for this.

I have performed a backend fix on your account so that you will not be prompted by the jagged character challenge. Please try exporting your contacts again.

I would need additional information to further troubleshoot your concern. Please reply to this post and include your Windows Live Hotmail e-mail address. I would also need the exact steps you have taken before coming across the error condition.

Please also clarify whether you accessed your account from another computer using a different Internet connection.

I tried again and it didn't work.  Then I logged out, rebooted my computer, and tried again, and it is STILL asking for account verification, and STILL not working.

Is there something else I need to do to reset something?

I can´t merge, clean up, delete, import, export, etc. contacts from my contact list.  Besides, some contacts appear on my address book and although I have them on messenger everytime I login I have to add them again to be able to speak to them because I appears as if I didn´t have them in my address book... so i have to log in to hotmail and "edit" the contact, then "add" it again to my messenger so i can speak to them.  This happens EVERY time I use messenger  By the way, it's not browser related since I have the problem no matter were or in what computer I use the service and I've used more than 5.

So, I grant you my permission to access my Windows Live ID. in order to help me with this issue

I've GRANTED ACCESS, and done EVERYTHING ASKED TO DO, BUT NOTHING HAS CHANGED!!!!

I already have the alternative email address listed in my information.  Is it not showing on your side?

PLEASE HELP ME!!!  I just started up my own company, and I REALLY need access to my contact information in a database!  This has been an ongoing issue for MUCH too long.  It was very easy to INPORT everything the first time!

AS I SAID IS NOT BROWSER related.

I am no newbie on internet, this is not a computer, browser, blah, blah issue.

Please proceed to help solving this issue not to send me around this like a ping pong ball all around this site.

Despite looking browsing and trying all your help pages and using different pc's  and browsers total time over 1 hour I am unable to export my contacts having used both visual and audio HIP I am not able to export my contacts.

However I have no problem when I try to print them visual works every

As above have tried for 3 days to export contacts  I have lost count of the number of times I have tried jagged character challenge. After 10 years of experiance I give up.
