I recently received an e-mail from a friend with a link, as I ha seen the same type of message before I suspected some sort of scam & using the properties on the click here I found this address.
http://gjyeql.i-noticed-blocked.com/?id=pvjDt&invitation={removed email address}
The message asked if you'd like to see who had blocked or deleted you from their address list.
The one I saw last year was called Block Yell, it asked for your e-mail address & password.
This one went one further as when you entered these details it then had a couple of continue buttons that would then download a program - to cut a long story short it was either a trojan, malware or a virus that would send cookies & alter your registry.
When I put the address into the firefox browser bar it immediately went to a page that read,
Reported Web Forgery!
This web site at gjyeql.i-noticed-blocked.com has been reported as a web forgery and has been blocked based on your security preferences.
Web forgeries are designed to trick you into revealing personal or financial information by imitating sources you may trust.
Entering any information on this web page may result in identity theft or other fraud.
However when I place this address into my IE8 browser it takes me straight to "web forgery" page, how come microsoft haven't blocked this site yet?
I would also like to mention that since installing IE8, I have had lots of trouble opening the browser, it states it is connecting but I end up having to close it using the windows task manager where it tells me that it is not responding!
